Oral Hearing Needed for Proposed Sewage Treatment Plant in Clonshaugh

Following the news that the waste water treatment facility in North Dublin has been delayed due to errors in its application, a public oral hearing is now required, given the delay in the planning process for the proposed sewage treatment plant in Clonshaugh.

We need an oral hearing into the planning application for the proposed sewage treatment plant in Clonshaugh.

Local residents need their concerns allayed. I was very concerned to read that Irish Water had not made Failte Ireland aware of the proposed sewage plant.

This demonstrates a lack of joined up thinking on the part of Irish Water.

While it is essential that we upgrade our water infrastructure, we need to make sure there is open and transparent engagement among all the stakeholders, to minimise the impact on local residents.
