Re-Opening of Coolock Library A Major Boost

I have welcomed the reopening of Coolock public library as a major boost for the local community.

This is fantastic news for everyone in the community. Libraries provide space for people of all ages, backgrounds and provide for a vast range of interests, as well as providing space for different initiatives.

Coolock Library, located on Barryscourt Road, is accessible by the 17A and 27 buses, it is also wheelchair accessible and an induction loop for people with hearing difficulties are available. This will provide an inclusive service for everyone in the area.

I would encourage everyone in the locality to stop by and see for themselves the brilliant resources available at the library, including, free wifi, study spaces, book, art and knitting clubs and administration services on top of many other features.

Preserving these kinds of community spaces is crucial for the health and vitality of our communities, I am delighted that Coolock residents can now benefit once more from such a place.

This is a positive step for the area and one we must encourage across other localities across Dublin.
