About
I was elected to Dublin City Council in June 2009. I am a member of the Housing Strategic Policy Committee on Dublin City Council and a board member of the Hugh Lane Gallery and the Temple Bar Cultural Trust. I am a also committee member of the Council’s women’s group who work to create awareness and to celebrate International Women’s Day.
My priorities are:
- An improved, integrated local transport system
- Enhancement of city centre villages
- Increased sports resources for residents of the South East Inner City
- Increased protection for apartment dwellers through proper regulation of management companies
- Increased resources and support for all aspects of the Arts in the South East Area
I am a practicing Solicitor in the firm DFMG Solicitors in Ballsbridge. I am from Mayo and come from a family with a long association with Fine Gael. I have a business with my sister which is based in the South East Inner City.
Throughout my years of involvement with Fine Gael in Dublin South East, both in Local and General elections, I have gained tremendous experience and have made many good friends. I am delighted to have been elected to help you in this area.
