There are plans to upgrade the pedestrian/ cyclist crossing facilities at this junction as part of the Portobello to East Wall Premium Cycle Route.

The existing crossing at Clanwilliam Place itself will be upgraded to a Toucon Crossing (to cater for cyclist and pedestrian movement.)

Two new “Toucon Crossing” (Pedestrian/Cyclist) are planned at Lower Grand Canal Street just West of Grand Canal Quay and east of Clanwilliam Place.
This work is planned for completion before the end of the year.

To ask the Manager if the McMahon Bridge could be street cleaned on a regular basis.

Waste Management Services will ensure that the McMahon Bridge is cleaned every Monday after the refuse collection has taken place in this area.
