<p>To ask the Manager to install pedestrian lights at the junction of Clanwilliam Place and Lower Grand Canal Street.</p>
<p><strong>Report</strong><br />
There are plans to upgrade the pedestrian/ cyclist crossing facilities at this junction as part of the  Portobello to East Wall Premium Cycle Route.</p>
<p>The existing crossing at Clanwilliam Place itself will be upgraded to a Toucon Crossing (to cater for cyclist and pedestrian movement.)</p>
<p>Two new “Toucon Crossing” (Pedestrian/Cyclist) are planned at Lower Grand Canal Street just West of Grand Canal Quay and east of Clanwilliam Place.<br />
This work is planned for completion before the end of the year.</p>
